VEGETABLE GARDENING SOUTH AUSTRALIA
What is the best type of herbs and vegeatables this time of year?

We are, hopefully, starting up a vegetable garden and a herb garden (separate) and wondering what type we should choose in Summer? I live in Western Australia about 30km from Perth to the South West (90%sure). Does anyone have any good herb&veg to plant this time of year? Thanks

Also if you have any tips for making ours successful or what problems did you have with yours (if you have/had one) that could help me? Thanks!

Well, I got to school in the U.S. and I’m not sure about the climate out by you. I do know that out here quite a few people will start vegetables from seeds in their house before or during early spring. Personally I try to do all my planting in the spring. Where I live the hardiness zone is a 5. This link shows you a map of Australia and it’s hardiness zones.

In my climate, we can grow a variety of food crops. I grow tomatoes, peppers, watermelon, squash or pumpkins, carrots, and quite few other things depending on how much space I have that year. I am sorry that cannot give you any more help than that.
I hope your garden turns out wonderful! ^^
