PRESCHOOL GARDENING LESSON PLANS

Posted in Gardening | No Comments »

Possibly opening an in-home private dual language Preschool, I would love any advice?

I am planning on maybe opening a home dual language (Spanish) preschool, but I would like to hear others’ opinions. I teach preschool now in a public school, have a Masters in Education, and 14 years as a teacher. The day would consist of two Spanish lessons, and be a mix of both play-based and structured activities. The curriculum would be very academic with thematic units and Neuhaus phonemic and phonics lessons in small group, but I would include a generous amount of time in centers using more of a Highscope model. I also have a garden and plenty of outdoor play activities. I would also have many guest speakers, and breakfast, lunch, and snack would be provided. I live in the Austin areas, and the tuition would be $750 a month for 7:00 am to 6:00 pm Mon. – Fri.

Parents, would you find this type of in-home preschool to your liking for your child? I am really considering this as an option. Thank you.

So parents, would

I think it sounds lie a GREAT plan. You would attract higher income families who want their children to be bi-lingual. I bet you would rarely have an opening. I say DO IT!
