What type of Salvia (Sage) did I buy?
Bought it from Home Depot, the tag only said Salvia but I know there are a LOT of different species and sub species… I’d like to know to satisfy my own curiosity as well as researching care-tips. At the link you will see the pic used by HD on their gardening club website for the plant (which the best I can see matches what I bought). It looks like lavender, the spears of flowers are tightly packed– more so that the officinalis photos I’ve been able to find but I’m not all that experienced in plant recognition…

Yes it is perennial

most likely May Night… it’s the most popular salvia with gardeners…
the picture is too small to tell which one it might be… but did the site say perennial?…
