GARDENING NEW ZEALAND BOOK
Could this old family friend of mine be having amorous thoughts?

My parents’ best friends’ daughter, with whom I used to waddle around in the garden when we were toddlers, is currently visiting us here in New Zealand. We have seen each other only sporadically over the last 35 years, and barely spoken to each other.
Now she’s suddenly here, a dazzlingly good-looking, successful doctor in Germany, and when we have time to go places alone, I sometimes feel like she’s not here entirely because she wants to see the Milford Sound.
I am married to a very nice woman, but this visitor is making me feel all sorts of things. It doesn’t really help that we seem to have just about every eery similarity in the book, could be twins in every way.
Are old family friends safe to have around, or are surprises in store?

hi
these things can happen .. la vida te da sorpresas, sorpresas te da la vida .. that song of Ruben Blades’s is really true..you can never be sure about anything… less about feelings..I think you can never be sure about anything .. the only thing that’s safe in our lives is that is sure is that we gonna die one day..anyway..safety might be boring ..jeje…
it´s natural that if you have such an affinity with a friend you might feel a bit more than a simply friendship for this person..
we don’t find so many special people in our lives ..
I hope you can understand what I mean, my spanish is better than my english ^^”
