help with business idea?

I need some help with a business idea for college. We have to do up a business plan for one of our modules, except our group cannot come up with anything that people want in a recession and that is cheap to set up.
It doesnt have to be extreely cheap as we are allowed to get capital from the bank, but it cannot be anything really extravagant.
We are completely lost at the moment and need any kind of clever suggestions!
so far we had:
camping equipment site sale and hire
load music onto ipod service
live sports events in cinema
vegetable garden starter kit
hybrid taxi service

I have a very clever idea for you……and get this…Never been done.

1. Do you know what rain sensors are and what they do?
.They are used for automatically opening and closing windows with electric gears.

2. Do you know what a motor is?
. It is a mechanical device used to in this instance to make something turn.

3. Do you know what a new build is?
Its basically a new building in construction

4. Do you know that insurance companies pay out millions in claims of flood damage each year caused by leaking pipes!

5. Put it all together and what have you got?

Answer:

On a new build, as the pipes are soldered together a rain sensor is attached to each joint. When the detector gets wet, it sends a signal to a control box. The Box then instructs the motor to begin operation. The motor then turns the mains water off.

A complete flood and associated water damage is avoided and the control box has a flashing light which when read says “Call Engineer / Plumber”
