PLUM TREES GARDENING
Which Self-fertile Plum, Pear and Cherry?

Thanks for the previous answers on apples……I’m onto other fruits now.
I’m looking for self-fertile fruit trees to plant in my garden; a Plum, a Pear and a Cherry.
Any recommendations (sweet not acid).
Thanks.

Sweet cherries usually need pollinators. Sour, or pie cherries are self-fertile. Bing and Black Tartarian sweet cherries willpollinate each other.

Keifer Pears are self-pollinating. And although Bartlett are listed as needing pollinators – they are also known for not having read the book, and they often will pollinate themselves anyway.

There are many plums that are self-fertile. Damson and Methley are two – but there are others.
