PARTIAL SHADE GARDENING PLANS
Would this layout work in my garden?

Think of it as a long rectangle shape. I have pansys (or whatever anual is in season) in front for 3 close lines. Behind those I’m going to put columbines in the same clustered lines. Behind those I’m planning on putting lily’s, same clustered lines. And behind everything I’m going to put taller hosta’s with a jasmine plant in the middle between the two windows. We don’t have gutters on the house, so when it rains, it’s like a water fall falling on the area the hostas will be in. I had lilies there last year and everytime it rained, the water would knock off the flowers. If you have any suggestions or comments, please let me know. I’m in zone 8 and the area they will be in is partial sun/shade. Thanks for any input.

All the plants you’ve selected will do well in a partial shade area and if you like the look of a formal garden bed then it should be quite nice.

Good Luck
