OUTSIDE GARDENING TABLE

Why does my little doggy do these things?
Hi, I have a yorkie-russell cross so she is still 100% a terrier.
We leave her alone 4 days a week for 6 hours a day as I have to go to school. But I walk her and play with her when I get back and when my mum gets back a couple of hours later she makes a fuss of her aswell.
But lately she’s been digging holes in the garden and I saw her doing it once when I was just sitting at the table looking outside.
She suddenly stuck her nose to the ground as if she was smelling something then started digging then smelled it again and carried on digging… why~??
And the other thing is that she barks at these screen blinds that we have by the back door and when you pull them up or down the sqeak and she goes mad and barks and jumps up and if she can reach she will bite them and hold on.
Why is this aswell?
Thanks x
She is just being a terrier, they love to have fun in the garden, I have two girl yorkie puppies, my youngest likes to dig in the garden too, I have found that filling Kong’s (dog toys) with their normal kibble and some cheese and ham keeps them from getting bored when I have to leave them for any length of time.
The Kong’s are also great for letting them play outside, it will take her mind off the digging and save your garden. There are loads of recipes you can find online for stuffing the Kong’s with.
I really do recommend them for yorkies
