Some eighty years ago, a wealthy and elegant Woburn woman left more than 200 acres of land to posterity, stipulating in her will that it be kept as “a public pleasure ground.” Now, a local conservation group is proposing a project that would fit it nicely with what Mary Cummings likely had in mind.
