ORGANIC GARDENING BOOKS GARDENERS
Information needed: I see a wide range of answers so I was wondering if?

gardeners here use Organic methods or Pesticides? Or use a combination of both in your yard and garden. Why do you choose this method?

I’m an author and I am in the middle of writing another book. This will help me in gathering more information for one of my chapters on plants and diseases.

Thank-you in advance for your answer.
To: Wisest person alive… What are the pest and diseases that you find difficult to deal with? Thanks so much!

For my vegetable garden I use only organic soils and insecticidal soap, a type of organic pesticide. I do this because I will be eating the produce or I will donate to a food pantry where others will be eating it. Chemicals are things we all need to avoid in the food chain whenever possible.

I also use organics for my flower gardens because the run off from the chemical products will just get into the food chain also. Not just our food chain, but for the wildlife and insects as well.

I know it’s a drop in the bucket compared to what the commercial growers dump on our foods, but it’s something I can do, so I do it.
