Busch Gardens & Colonial Williamsburg Is it good for kids?
What is there to do in Busch Gardens, is there a ZOO?
My kids are very little and won’t like rides, 2 and 3 years old
and i have 12 year old,( he might like the rides)
My in laws don’t speak much english, So which of these places would be the best?
We will be going in May. ANY SUGGESTIONS.
They had a petting zoo maybe 8 years ago but they took it away…
But Busch Gardens has a part called Land of the Dragons devoted to younger kids. It’s like this big jungle-gym type of thing (Very kid friendly). It also has some VERY gentle rides for little kids. One of them, for example, the kids (and an adult if you wish) goes in a boat around in a circle, with maybe a very small dip. There’s also some other very kid friendly rides there.
There’s plenty of rides that your 12 year old should like. Nothing gets too extreme, either. It’s not exactly a thrill park, but the roller coasters are all fun (there’s 5). There’s also many other rides that are good for 12 year olds (depending on the kid, there’s really nothing that’s too scary).
Busch Gardens also has TONS of shows. They’re not very long and they can be pretty entertaining. One the kids might enjoy is a pet show they have that features many different animals doing tricks.
There’s also a big bird aviary that you can walk through. The birds fly around and land on you. You can buy a cup filled with some sort of sweet liquid that they’ll drink out of.
There’s also shows for little kids, and many other shows fun for everyone
It’s a beautiful park (according to the recording they play on the train, it’s been voted most beautiful for many years straight), and it has a really nice atmosphere.
