KIDS GARDENING CRAFTS IDEAS
Lesson Plan for 3 and 6 y.o.?

I like to teach these two kids I watch little “lessons” like I’m their teacher and we do games, crafts, read books, go places, etc. Any ideas for tomorrow (they are both girls btw). I was thinking something with gardening because we started growing some cucumbers in an egg carton a week ago and they have started sprouting, but I’d be fine with other ideas. Thanks a bunch!

You can make some crafty spring insects. Then go to the library to find books about these insects.

Bumble Bees:
If you have extra egg cartons, you can make bumble bees by cutting the egg cartons so that there are 3 bumps. The kids can paint them yellow with a few black stripes. You can add antennae, legs and a stinger (tail) with cut up pieces of a black pipe cleaner or just black paper. The wings can be made out of a round coffee filter cut into quarters.

You can find more spring craft projects on line at sites like:

Good luck and have fun!
