INDOOR HERB GARDENING PLANTS
Seeking advice from experienced senior gardeners…?

When growing an herb garden in an indoor window sill box, is it a good idea to take it outdoors for fresh air or should it stay indoors until the sun is shining brightly & the temp is above 40?

I’m thinking of starting one & I’ve never had indoor plants of the edible variety. Can they survive outdoors in the winter months? We have no snow. Zone 8!

I would put it in a south facing window, and not worry about taking it outside.
Remember, plants take up carbon dioxide and exhale oxygen, so they shouldn’t need to go out.
Enjoy !
