GARDENING NORTHEAST OHIO
I’m starting a garden and want to grow tomatoes from seeds. Do I have to start the seeds inside?

Or can I just plant them in the ground. I live in Northeast Ohio.
Thanks for all the great answers!

Don’t know about your climate, but I always plant them in seedling trays first and then put into the ground after about a week. I’ve never put things inside, but I live in a warm climate (Byron Bay, Australia). So long as there is no danger of frost, you should be able to do it all outside.
