GARDENING MAPLES
Why has my red japanese maple turned green?

My crimson queen japanese maple has tuned from red to green,it is planted in a north facing garden so cant really be moved. Will it turn back to red in the autumn?

I have one of those too. They will turn green if they get too much sun, they start dark red in the spring, get green in the sun, then get red in the fall.

Interesting site about this type of maple at the link.
