What were the best shows on WPIX channel 11 in the 70s and 80s?
“The Odd Couple”? “Honeymooners”? “The Magic Garden”?
“The Magic Garden” was actually pretty cool! I also liked watching Scooby Doo on Channel 11 as well.
But my FAVORITE thing to come out of that era was “TV PIX”…the video game competition where you won an Intellivision and all you had to do was yell “PIX” to fire down spaceships!
“Barney Miller” was also cool on Channel 11. I’m surprised NO other channel (TV Land or Ion) is running it now.
