Im planning on working at a rehabalitation center over the summer! That can teach me a lot I kno!
Should I go to college in Australia or stay in the states?
You are still young. I would start researching colleges (in the States and in Australia), looking at what classes are needed for the degree, maybe what it take to live/work in Australia, and take to a counselor at school (they can help you find places to volunteer, advise you on colleges, and give you ideas you might not have though of). Also volunteer at an animal shelter, wildlife rehabilitation center, or be a jr zookepper at a zoo. Anheuser-Busch Adventure Parks and San Diego Zoo offer special internships for students.
The more relevant and higher education and experience you get the more it will help when looking for a job, and possibly a higher starting pay.
Exotic Animal Training and Management (EATM) Program, Biology, Animal Science, Zoology, Marine, Wildlife, or some degree along those lines would be a good start. Some colleges even offer a PhD in those degrees.
Study hard in Biology, though later your focus will be mostly animals, biology is the starting point and is relevant to Animal Science.
I hope this helps. Good Luck.
