GARDENING LOUISIANA IRIS
how deep do i put an iris louisiana knock out in my wader garden

i just bought an iris louisiana knock out for my water garden and don’t know deep the plant should be.

just read that the roots could start rotting if they grow outward into deeper water and don’t reach any soil to root in, so I’d plant it in a shallower area of you pond so the leaves will be above water while the rhizomes have plenty of room to spread horizontaly through the substrate.
