GARDENING HISTORY CALIFORNIA
zoos/museums in new york city?

are there any zoos/museums/gardens in new york city where i could see butterfly gardens? and preferably see the butterflies outside? i know the bronx zoo has an exhibit but its seasonal? and the museum of natural history has an exhibit but i think its inside? anything else? thanks!! id like to visit sometime this week before saturday

also, do u know any butterfly gardens in california?

At the Bronx Zoo the Butterfly Garden exhibit is open through October, but try to see it before then.

At the Museum, they exhibit specimens, non-living.

Bronx has the best Botanical Gardens. No butterfly exhibit, but worth the trip if you are interested in anything horticultural.

In calisornia, check out the San Diego Zoo. They have an annual Orchids and Butterfly exhibit every spring as well as something of a butterfly garden in the children’s zoo.
