GARDENING BEDDING PLANTS
something is eating my bedding plants – help!?

I just put out lots of vegetables yesterday – tomatoes, melons and peppers.

They transplated just fine, I watered them and now 2 days later I’m finding everything has been “snipped off” down to the stem! This happened to the tomatoes and peppers. Only a tiny green stem left, no upper stems or leaves. The melons disappeared altogether – the entire bedding plant!

What is going on?? I put down small animal repellent so is this a voracious garden bug?

I need an experienced gardeners advice and opinion so that $200 dollars I just spent is not wasted….thanks.

Odds are its cutworm theres soil treatments for them, If you have any plants left u can make some collars to go around the plant
