Guide To Snakes In Hong Kong?

I found a Cobra in my back garden yesterday(Lantau Island,Hong Kong).I know it is probably poisonous, but i managed to remove it and set it free without harming it.I will come across other snakes in the future because of my location, and would like to know what snakes i will be “meeting” so i will know what precautions to take.

from a fellow Hong Konger … try this website
http://www.hkras.org/eng/info/hkspp.htm OR, from wikipedia,
this: “Hong Kong has over 100 species of amphibians and reptiles. Among them, over 40 species are snakes. Most snakes in Hong Kong are harmless and there have been very few cases of known bites by highly venomous snakes.”
