CONTAINER GARDENING INDOOR

Indoor gardening – what should I grow?
I live in Texas in zone 8a I think. I don’t have much of a yard or anything, but I really want to garden, so I thought I might try my hand at indoor container gardening. The windows where I want to put my plants get lots of sun in the morning and earlier part of the afternoon, but it’s pretty shady after that. Aside from a horticulture class in high school, I haven’t had much experience with gardening, so I might need something that’s not so easy to screw up.
I really just want to grow some stuff me and my bunnies can eat. ![]()
I forgot to mention, but it doesn’t necessarily have to be indoors. I just want it to be edible and in containers.
welcome to the serenity of gardening. Local library can help or web search for your states cooperative extension program in horticulture. Even depot or lowes garden dept can help. Just remember, if your going away for a week or longer, have someone water them if you can because pot and containers tend to dry out faster than planting in the ground.
