What would an October wedding at the Loose Park Rose Garden in Kansas City look like?

I’m getting married next year on October 10th, and saw that the rose garden @ Loose Park is available for wedding ceremonies until October. I feel silly for asking because I’ve lived in Kansas City my whole life, but I’ve never really spent much time near the Plaza to see what Loose Park looks like in early October – are there still flowers around? Is the fountain still going?

A couple of years ago, I’d say it wouldn’t be very pretty at that time of the year. However, they’ve just reopened it after redoing the garden. Check with them and see if they have any pretty fall plantings planned for October.
