What to plant now in central Texas?

I live in Leon County, central Texas, and just cleard a nice spot for a garden, so what do I plant now, what grows in this are this time of year. Any suggestions or websites you know of that provide a guide of some sort for what and when to plant?
well vegetables mainly, maybe some flowers. Mostly sunny with one section that will be slightly shaded by a small tree on the fenceline that will begin casting a shodow over the garden area around 3 pm
the shadow casts only upon maybe 10 sgaure feet of garden
