Cast iron ornament outside?
I was given a cast-iron ornament that I would like to keep in the garden. It has always lived inside before. Will it rust? If so is there a way to protect it?
Yes it will rust.
You can apply WD 40 & continue to do so.
or paont with a clear varnish, note you will have to reaply the varnis every year or so.
