BLACK PLASTIC GARDENING

How easy or difficult is it to recycle in the country where you live?
I have a little brown bin for food waste. I have a black box for cans and clothes. I have a wheelie bin for other stuff that the Council considers as recyclable. Garden waste will not be taken. Plastic will not be taken.
Cardboard has to go out on the pavement each Monday morning for someone to break their neck on falling over.
And … if you want to get rid of a large kitchen appliance, my Council charge £15 for the honour.
Black bin for general waste.
Green bin for paper and plastics.
Brown bin for garden waste but not soil.
A little brown bin with plastic bags for food waste which then go into the big brown bin.
Council will collect electrical appliances but if your making home improvement, say a new bath they then charge for that.
I do a bit of gardening and to dispose of customers grass etc I am supposed to purchase a slip from the council which costs £15 a trip. I do go in every now and again and say it is my own grass.
Must admit the council yard is spotless.
I have heard that in reality there is very little recycling going on.
What a lot of bins.
