BASIC GARDENING SUPPLIES
Okay, So I know nothing about Botany, but my question is…?

Well, I know what my grandma taught me with her vegetable garden but I don’t know much about flowers, other than basic biology things and water them cause they smell nice.. sarcasm… Anywho! My question is about lavender, roses, and violets. Can they be grown together? I know roses are bushes so I can’t very well have a rose bush in my house, but what about lavender(s?) and violets? Can they be grown indoors with a good light supply or are they strictly outdoors? I’m really interested in growing these plants but would I just buy lavender(s?) at any garden store? Thanks for anyone who answers!

They can all be grown indoors with adequate light, though a rose would probably do much better outside. The difference, and what may make them hard to grow side by side, is that violets will definitely need less light than a rose, and possibly so much less that the violets may not grow well under that much light.
