Do people really no longer smoke in clubs now in America?

In the UK the smoking ban has just come in on july 1st and whilst in pubs it doesn’t seem to be a problem as you can go outside in the beer garden; however in clubs people generally like to smoke on the spur of the moment in a drunken state. What i want to know is what happens to smokers who want a ciggerette in the clubs in america?
